Founder: Lila Arch

Position: Lila serves as the Creative Director and Editor for The Writers’ Crossroads. She runs TWC’s Instagram (@thewriterscrossroads) and TikTok (@thewriterscrossroads) accounts, and curates each edition published.

Founder’s Note: Hi, I’m Lila! I am sixteen years old, and live in Chicago, IL. I founded TWC because, predictably, I love to write. After attending creative writing courses during the summer and meeting several other young writers, I realized what an absolute privilege and beautiful experience it is to share writing with others and bond throughout. I hope that TWC can blossom into a vibrant community of young writers across the globe, and I am so excited to see the journey on which this can take us!

How is The Writers’ Crossroads unique?
The Writers’ Crossroads aims to serve as not only a literary journal, but as a community. It looks to utilize the internet to spread the work and voices of new and established young writers, and to connect them as well. By establishing a social media presence and facilitating different weekly “Literary Challenges”, such as “Quote Week” (during which followers can share their personal favorite quotes to be featured in a compilation post), The Writers’ Crossroads is a hub of creativity in which every young writer can expect to find inspiration, inclusivity, and opportunity.
